About JENNIFER BORJA, ESQUIRE

As an immigrant and a naturalized citizen of the United States of America, Ms. Jennifer Borja shares and understands her clients' journey, hard work and perseverance to secure the American dream of having a better life for their family. Ms. Borja specializes in all aspects of Immigration & Nationality Law. She has successfully assisted clients in obtaining family-based green cards, employment-based green cards, and citizenships. In addition, she has also prepared numerous non-immigrant visa petitions. Since Immigration is governed by federal law, Ms. Borja can represent clients throughout the United States of America for all their immigration matters. Ms. Borja is fluent in Tagalog and is knowledgeable in Spanish.

Ms. Borja also has extensive experience in New Jersey family law, ranging from annulment, contested and uncontested divorce matters, custody/parenting time, spousal support/alimony, child support and issues involving distribution of marital assets.

Ms. Borja also has a strong background in administrative and criminal law. Prior to establishing Borja Law Firm, she was an associate with Timothy R. Smith and Associates, where she handled residential real estate transactions and focused on employment law and criminal defense of public employees for the State of New Jersey, such as teachers and police officers, in the Office of Administrative Law, Municipal and Superior Courts.

Ms. Borja is admitted to practice law in States of New York and New Jersey, and the Federal District Court of New Jersey. Ms. Borja graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Economics from Rutgers University and she earned her Juris Doctorate from New York Law School. During law school, Ms. Borja served as a judicial extern to Honorable Doris Ling-Cohan, Justice of the New York Supreme Court.
